Pop princess Britney Spears is “extremely upset” over a lip-syncing controversy while performing on her “Circus” tour in Australia, reports PEOPLE.com.

Local news reports said fans left in the middle of Spears’ Perth show after realizing she wasn’t singing live, a claim that Spears’ tour manager Paul Dainty told The Australian is ”the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.”
