Long live the King of Rock and Roll. That’s the message many tweeters have been conveying today on what would’ve been Elvis Presley’s 75th birthday.

The musician, born January 8, 1934, changed the music industry with his chiseled looks, pelvic thrusts and–of course–countless hit songs. In honor of his birthday, Entertainment Weekly put together “75 Reasons to Love The King.”

Elvis was on the Trending Topics list several times today, with a mix of tweets wishing him a happy birthday, offering introspective thoughts and sharing favorite music.
