Michael C. Hall, star of the hit show “Dexter,” revealed that he is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, TV Guide Magazine reports. Hall, 38, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but he says the cancer is in remission.

In a statement Hall said, “I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care.”

Hall’s spokesman added that although the actor’s cancer is in remission, he will continue treatment. Hall plans to return for the fifth season of “Dexter” later on this year and, according to PEOPLE, will attend the Golden Globes on Sunday. Both he and the show received nominations.
