Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris Join “American Idol” in Dallas

On Wednesday, “American Idol” went to Dallas and met up with guest judges Neil Patrick Harris and Joe Jonas. The “How I Met Your Mother” star wasn’t afraid to speak his mind and even disagree with Simon Cowell, winning over many in the Twitterverse.

Joe Jonas, whom we told you in August would be joining the panel for a guest stint, seemed to go with the flow, not disagreeing much with the judges. Still, many of his fans were tweeting their adoration for the Jonas Brother.

“Idol” fans are still tweeting about the most memorable contestants from Dallas, including Erica Rhodes, Todrick Hall and Dave Pittman. Hall, who wrote an original song for the judges, has been getting the most buzz, both for his soulful voice and controversial past.
