The dance is over for Samantha Harris. Harris, co-host of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” for the past eight seasons, will not be returning for the show’s new season in March, reports PEOPLE.

Harris says she’s leaving to focus more on being a correspondent for “The Insider” and to take on other projects. Over the past few years, Harris has simultaneously held jobs at E!, “The Insider” and “DWTS.”

Her co-host, Tom Bergeron, said he’ll miss her but hopes she’ll return to the ballroom at some point as a contestant. Executives for the show have not yet begun the search for her replacement.

The Twitterverse seems torn by Harris’ decision to leave the show and many are wondering who the new co-host will be:
