Last night Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham served as a guest judge on “America Idol” for the time this season, this time in Denver. The talent was spotty, with a few standouts, and hopefuls who got through were primarily commended for their good looks. Twitterville has been taking Beckham to task for judging the contestants for their appearances, not their performance, and some are even making snide remarks about the singer’s own appearance.

Casey Adams, a 27-year-old Texan, was among the contestants whose attractiveness helped get a golden ticket despite judge Simon Cowell’s protests. Plenty of “Idol” fans were tweeting about Adams after he removed his shirt upon judge Kara DioGuardi’s request.

Adams wasn’t the only contestant getting Twitter buzz, however. Plenty have been tweeting about the best and the worst of last night’s auditions. “Bikini Boy” was trending shortly after the show, about the swimwear clad Ty Hemmerling who made a brief appearance at the end of the episode. Others were tweeting their predictions for who will go far once in Hollywood.
