As Breaking Tweets Entertainment reported a few months ago, rumors had circulated about Steven Tyler quitting his role as the the lead singer of Aerosmith. All signs pointed to Tyler taking a break from the band and the remaining members began looking for replacements, which led to heated legal debates, with Tyler’s lawyer’s threatening to take legal action if the band auditioned for a new lead singer.

Aerosmith fans can rest easy now: Tyler is still the lead singer of the band. The news comes this week after he announced via video on the band’s website that he “auditioned and got the gig.” The band also announced in their video that they are planning a European tour this summer.

Tweeters have expressed joy over Aerosmith reuniting with Tyler, as well as the tour news:
