Brooke Burke to Co-host DWTS

Season seven “Dancing With the Stars” winner Brooke Burke has signed on the co-host the hit series this season, reports Variety. Burke will be sharing duties with host Tom Bergeron and replacing former co-host Samantha Harris.

The model and dancing star has hosted numerous shows including “E! Wild On” and the music competition “Rock Star.” There had been reports that Burke was competing for the job alongside other DWTS alumni including Melissa Rycroft, Vanessa Minnillo and Spice Girls Mel B. Rycroft and Mel B.

The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” premieres on ABC on Monday, March 22 with a two-hour special at 8 p.m. EST. It seems that the Twitter-nation is divided on whether or not Burke is the better choice compared to Melissa Rycroft.

    For the sake of Brooke's best not to get a job now in the show.With four children she has and her husband, who is now thinking about the real estate business (hopefully wrong, but I think that now is not far to jump to sell properties because nobody buys thecrisis) is going to need it, I think !. It will be as bad as you pleasebut you better have a little patience and understanding, at least for now ....

    terriblytexas, Is not Brooke old and if it it was that, perhaps a major woman cannot work as TV-host? I believe that if a woman is good in his work it takes ahead any 18-year-old baby if it is good; First for experience and second because a tv-host is not to show palm heart opposite to the camera but to lead the show without taking leading role from him not to the show, not those that they inform. In this case Brooke it does not look like to me the best option and I believe that others can make it better, Oprah Winfrey is a major woman but she is a good TV-Host; Whereas Brooke is not on a par. She is too centred on being the protagonist that in the end end up stopping to the show secondly and between fronts of magazine, actress and his page wants to monopolize so much things on that in the end it does not centre on anything concrete, does not give everything and does it bad, this is what I think!.

    Old, dull, boring Brooke as DWTS co-host? What a horrible decision! She may be professional but her work as of late is matronly as best. Where's the energy, the fun, the personality so desparately needed for DWTS after disastrous season 9? Melissa Rycroft was the BEST choice! Fresh, fun, warm and engaging Melissa has just the right spark to help resurrect DWTS. Her on camera rapport with Tom was obvious during the cast announcement. Bad news for DWTS. Very bad news.
