Conan O’Brien to Tour Beginning in April

Only a month and a half ago, Conan O’Brien bade “The Tonight Show” audiences a farewell. O’Brien’s departure from his position as host was met with sorrow from fans, but hope was on the horizon as talks began regarding a live tour. Fans of O’Brien can now celebrate – The Wrap announced that O’Brien will be hitting the road on a 30-city, 20-state tour beginning on April 12th and ending June 14th.

The tour, dubbed “The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour,” will grace such cities as New York City (where O’Brien, his sidekick Andy Richter, and former members of the “Tonight Show Band” will perform in  Radio City Music Hall), Los Angeles (where CoCo will be performing ironically close to his old “Tonight Show” home), Phoenix, San Diego, Chicago, and Boston, among many others. Tickets for the tour are now on sale through Ticketmaster and also through TeamCoco.com.

Via his personal Twitter (@ConanOBrien), O’Brien has tweeted more dates for New York City and Chicago, as well as what fans can expect from the show: “For that second show, I’ll be doing all Liza Minnelli songs.” O’Brien has also embraced the official “I’m With CoCo” poster, which shows an almost completely black-and-white version of O’Brien, but with his trademark fiery hair in front of an American flag, as the poster for his upcoming tour, as the image itself bears importance to O’Brien and his many supporters.
