New Michael Jackson Documentary Headed to Theaters

A new documentary recounting Michael Jackson’s final days is due out this summer, reports MTV.

The documentary, titled “Gone Too Soon,” is the work of Jackson biographer Ian Halperin, who last year published “Unmasked: The Final Year of Michael Jackson.”  Halperin is reportedly using footage he shot while researching the biography, including interviews with Jackson’s staff as well as the King of Pop himself.

Twitterville was less than enthusiastic about Halperin’s involvement in the film, a reaction quite different from the reaction received by the “This Is It” documentary released last October.

    Ian Halperin, as I mentioned, is just another writer utilizing Michael Jackson's name for his own money gain. Yes, in his book, he states that he realized Jackson was not a child molester; but then makes these outrageous allegations that Jackson used to dress up as a woman to meet up with his gay lovers. What is his proof? "Sources," "anonymous sources." Very unprofessional in his writing and language. I cannot even begin to imagine what other lie will be made in this so-called documentary. Just letting everyone know that Halperin will not get one cent from me; no proof, no truth, no audience.
