The hit MTV reality show “The Hills” is coming to an end this season, Entertainment Weekly reports. After six seasons on the air, producers felt that the show achieved what it had aimed for in portraying the lives of young people trying to navigate ups and downs – and usually lots of drama – in Los Angeles.

The producers have, however, revealed that there will be plenty of loose ends tied up in the final season, which begins on April 27th at 10 p.m. Viewers can expect to see more of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s relationship during the final episodes. Another topic revolving around Heidi is her dramatic plastic surgery-induced transformation, which she will reveal to her mother on camera. The final 12 episodes will also include Audrina Patridge’s dating life, Kristin Cavallari dealing with drug abuse rumors, among other topics. The question on fans’ minds, though is whether or not Lauren Conrad, the former star of the show, will return for the final season. Producers are keeping quiet, but do promise a “satisfying conclusion.”

Tweeps agree that LC was the heart of “The Hills,” and the majority feel like the show was incomplete without her.
