The Gods Break Easter Weekend Record

The remake of the 1981 film “Clash of the Titans” broke Easter weekend box office records with a $61.4 million intake, reports EW.com. The fantasy film about the Greek myth of Perseus was the latest in a line of 3-D releases.

Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married Too” opened at $30 million, followed closely by the animated 3-D film “How to Train Your Dragon,” which grossed $29.2 million during its second weekend.
