Recently, with numerous shows on the brink of being renewed, fans are more eager than ever to save their favorites. The fans of NBC’s spy action/drama series ”Chuck” are no exception. According to The Hollywood Reporter, fans from Chicago, Seattle, and San Diego are planning to demonstrate their support for the show by banding together and forming themed flash mobs on Monday, May 3. A flash mob originally planned for Philadelphia was cancelled due to an uncooperative parks department.

The fans plan on dressing in the show’s fictional “Buy More” store attire – work shirts, name tags, and all. This isn’t the first time that the the fanbase of “Chuck” has staged an event in order to rally support for their favorite show. Last year, around the season finale, fans bought tons of subs from Subway, one of the sponsors of “Chuck,” in order to save the show. This year though, the sponsors aren’t the ones fans are trying convince. The flashmob’s purpose is simple – a persuasive demonstration for potential viewers in hopes that they will rally even more support.

Fans who do not live in the four cities where flash mobs will be held do not have to fret. Those fans can participate on the day of the flashmob by posting “Chuck”-related tweets on their Twitters. Fans can check out all the details of the flashmob events at the “Chuck” fansite.
