The adventures of Manny, Diego, Sid, and Scrat will continue in “Ice Age: Continental Drift” starting on July 13, 2012, Variety reports. The film will also be presented in 3D.

The “Ice Age” films have grossed more than $1 billion dollars worldwide. The last film, “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” grossed close to $900 million dollars alone worldwide last year, making another sequel inevitable. No story line or returning cast members have been announced yet, but it’s a safe bet that everyone involved in the last movie might return.
