The Country Music Awards were held in Nashville Wednesday night and despite the recent tragedy that hit the city, the “Buckles” were handed out in style, according to People.com. Kid Rock hosted the event where the stars came out and performed their hits, making it known that Nashville was back in style.

Some of the highlights included Keith Urban thanking his wife, Nicole Kidman, and offering words of comfort to those affected by the Gulf Coast oil spill disaster; Kid Rock warning all attendees that any “Kanye West-isms” were not allowed; and the performances by artists like Urban, “Nashville Star” alum Miranda Lambert, “American Idol” alum Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band to name a few.

Lambert, Underwood, and Urban were the three big winners of the night. Here’s a complete list of winners:

Video of the Year, “Cowboy Casanova” by Carrie Underwood; Male Video of the Year, ”‘Til Summer Comes Around” by Keith Urban; Female Video of the Year, “White Liar” by Miranda Lambert; Group Video of the Year, ”Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum; Duo Video of the Year, ”Indian Summer” by Brooks & Dunn; USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year, ”Do I” by Luke Bryan; Collaborative Video of the Year, ”Hillbilly Bone” by Blake Shelton (Miranda Lambert’s fiancee) feat. Trace Adkins; and CMT Performance of the Year, “Temporary Home” by Carrie Underwood.
