“The Office” Launches Fan-made Episode Contest

It’s summertime, which means that all good television shows must come to a temporary end. The season finale of the hit television show “The Office” has ended, but the good news is that fans can still enjoy their favorite show throughout the summer. The creators have launched a “fanisode” contest for the mockumentary, announced EW.com.

The contest asks fans to select a segment from season 6’s episode “Murder” on the TV show’s official Web site. There are 86 segments from the episode up for grabs, and three people are allowed to sign up for any given segment. Then, the teams of three will recreate their segment and have two weeks to get the video completed and posted on the show’s Web page. The best video will be chosen and posted on NBC’s Web site by the end of the summer.
