Pixar’s “Toy Story 3″ is continuing on strong at the box office, taking in another $59 million this weekend for a total of $226.5 million in just 10 days, reports EW.com. This third installment of the “Toy Story” franchise has become the quickest Pixar movie to gross $200 million.

While the toys did some damage at the box office, the “Grown Ups” didn’t do too shabby either. Adam Sandler’s comedy came in second with a $41-million opening, doing much better than Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise’s action flick “Knight and Day,” which only earned $28 during its five-day opening.

But the relatively low box office sales of this summer are showing again as the total of the top three films this weekend combined is still lower than the $109-million opening “Transformers 2″ had this time last year. However, when “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” opens on Wednesday, the summer box office may once again get a boost.
