The classic “Charlie’s Angels” may soon have an ABC television revival, Variety.com reports.  Numerous Hollywood executives, including Josh Friedman, who recently adapted the Fox series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” are on board to produce the show.

In 1988 producer Aaron Spelling, who created the original show, made an attempt at making a spin-off called “Angels 88″ but the show never got anywhere. It wasn’t until the 2000s with the widely successful “Charlie’s Angels” films–and Farrah Fawcett’s death this past summer–that the franchise was put back in the public’s mind.

According PEOPLE.com, Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was found “dead in a apartment in New York City Friday.”  He was 36.

A statement released by Goldstein’s rep says: “Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein was found deceased this afternoon in his New York City apartment. The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time.”

The deejay, known for playing music at clubs throughout the country and at award shows, tweeted as recently as Tuesday afternoon that he was in New York, quoting a Grandmaster Flash song with the lyrics “Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.”

As soon as word of his death started to spread, “Rip DJ AM” became a Trending Topic as tweeters shared their shock and condolences. Many are pointing out the unusually high number of celebrity deaths this summer, including (but not limited to) Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Walter Cronkite, Billy Mays and Les Paul.

Goldstein was severely hurt last year in a plane crash, alongside Blink-182’s Travis Barker.  Four people died in the accident.

According to MTV News, Goldstein had recently finished filming a reality show for the network called “Gone Too Far” about substance abuse issues among the youth.  It was scheduled to premiere in October.

According to USAToday.com, pop culture icons Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, who both died June 25, appear in the September issue of Vanity Fair. Fawcett’s cover photograph, by Bruce McBroom, will be featured on half of the issues and Jackson’s cover photograph, by Annie Leibovitz, will be featured on the other half.

The magazines will include the exact same content, and will be on newsstands nationwide Aug. 11. Subscribers will receive one of the two covers at random.

The stories accompanying the covers highlight Fawcett and Jackson’s lives,  focusing on 5 different topics: love, fame, career, odd behavior and family.

Redmond O’Neal, the son of late actress Farah Fawcett, was able to attend his mother’s funeral today after receiving special permission to leave a detention center where he is serving a one-year term for violating his probation, PEOPLE.com reports.

O’Neal, who is Fawcett’s only child, was accompanied by his father and Fawcett’s longtime partner, Ryan O’Neal.  Other attendees included actresses Joan Collins and Marla Maples, as well as Fawcett’s “Charlie’s Angels” co-stars.

According to Entertainment Weekly, rumors that actor Jeff Goldblum died yesterday are completely false, his publicist confirms. The reports were prompted by an internet hoax that started Thursday afternoon, the same day both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson passed away.

Goldblum’s publicist issued the following statement: “Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue.  He is fine and in Los Angeles.”

Despite the confirmation that Goldblum is indeed alive and well, Twitterers are still unsure about the rumors:

Farrah Fawcett, best known for her role in “Charlie’s Angels,” died today at age 62 after a very public battle with cancer.

According to PEOPLE.com, Fawcett’s health had been fading in recent weeks as her cancer progressed.  Her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal recently asked the ailing TV icon to marry him.  The two have one child together, 24-year-old Redmond O’Neal.

According to ABCNews.com, Ryan O’Neal, longtime companion of actress Farrah Fawcett, has revealed the couple will finally tie the knot.

“I’ve asked her to marry me, again, and she’s agreed,” O’Neal, 68, told Barbara Walters during an exclusive interview for “20/20,” which will air Friday at 10 p.m. ET.

The pair first began dating in 1980 and have one son, Redmond.  Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006 and has since fought a very public battle with the disease.

Farrah Fawcett, currently battling cancer, now has another fight brewin. The U.S. General Attorney and the FBI are in the process of determining whether or not the National Enquirer paid a hospital worker to leak confidential information about her condition, according to Entertainment Weekly.

A story in the L.A. Times reported Lawanda Jackson, an administrative specialist, was the UCLA Medical Center employee who allegedly accessed Fawcett’s records. When the hospital tried to remove her in July 2007, she quit her job.

American Media Inc., the parent company of the National Enquirer, continues to write stories about Fawcett, despite the severity of the pending issue.
