Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all? Well, People.com can probably tell you– the magazine’s annual Most Beautiful People list has been announced, and “Pretty Woman” Julia Roberts leads the pack.

2010 marks Roberts’ fourth appearance on the cover of the magazine’s Most Beautiful issue (this year’s is also a double issue with a Sandra Bullock divorce and adoption special), which also means it’s her fourth time ranking at the top of the overwhelming attractiveness that dominates the list. Roberts has been on the list a total of 14 times.

So what other guys and gals did People honor this year? Some of the beautiful women include “Avatar” babe Zoë Saldana, “Iron Man 2″ star Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, “Dear John” starlet Amanda Seyfried, “The Good Wife” lead Julianna Margulies, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Szohr of “Gossip Girl” fame.

People’s guy round-up included Seyfried’s “Dear John” co-star Channing Tatum, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bieber, “Grey’s Anatomy” lead Kevin McKidd and Isaiah Mustafa (breakout star of the “I’m On a Horse” Old Spice commercial). Oh, and some guy named Robert Pattinson, too. (Kidding! What list of beautiful people would be complete without him?)

PEOPLE has named actor Johnny Depp as its 2009 Sexiest Man Alive.  The ”Pirates of the Caribbean” actor became the third man to hold the honor twice (Brad Pitt and George Clooney being the others). Depp first earned the title in 2003.

Also honored in the special issue, on newsstands Friday, are actors Rob Pattison, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and Bradley Cooper.

PEOPLE’s morning announcement landed Depp on the Trending Topics list as tweeps responded with varied reactions:

Wedding bells rang this weekend for Maggie Gyllenhaall and Peter Sarsgaard. The couple tied the knot on Saturday at a small chapel outside Rome, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE. Guests at the wedding included Gyllenhaall’s brother Jake and his girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon.

The long-time couple announced their engagement–and Gyllenhaall’s pregnancy–in 2006, after being together for four years. Their daughter, Ramona, is 2 1/2.
