“Sex and the City” Sequel Pictures Excite Fans

With the “Sex and the City” cast resuming filming this week for a sequel to the 2008 TV-to-film hit, leaked photos have the internet buzzing.

In the photos we see Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw dressed in a current fashion-forward outfit, as well as get-up and hairstyle that scream 80s. It appears that the sequel is going to include some flashbacks, perhaps from when the four lovely ladies of “Sex and the City” first moved to New York City.

As fans heavily anticipate this new installment of the “Sex and the City” franchise, the world of Twitter weighs in:

“Sex and the City” star Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick welcomed twin girls yesterday, PEOPLE.com reports. Named Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, they were born via surrogate.

The Twitterverse offered up its congrats to the couple, who also have a six-year-old son.

Miley Cyrus Potential Star in “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” Remake

The 80s teen flick “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” is getting a 2009 treatment, Variety reports. The trade magazine says the remake “will be developed as a potential star vehicle for Miley Cyrus.”

The original 1985 film starred Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica Parker as teens with a passion for dancing.
