Bonnaroo 2010 Lineup Announced

The lineup for the 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn. was announced Tuesday, according to a report from MTV.com.

The festival, scheduled for June 10-13, will feature 125 musical acts and more than 20 comedians performing on 13 different stages. The four-day extravaganza features everything from rock and hip-hop to electro, jam-style and some surprising talent from Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers. Some notable performers include Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Weezer and Flaming Lips.

Sundance Film Festival Expanding to Other Cities

For one day only, the Sundance Film Festival will be brought to eight different cities, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Screenings will take place on January 28, 2010 in Chicago; Los Angeles; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Brookline, Mass.; Brooklyn, N.Y.; Madison, Wis.; Nashville, Tenn. and San Francisco, Calif.. Filmmakers will be present at each of the cities to discuss their movies.

Bonnaroo 2009: “A Really Good Time”

According to Billboard.com, nearly 150 acts performed across six stages during the annual three-day music festival known as Bonnaroo.

Known for it’s “Woodstock-esque” feel, Bonnaroo, a New Orleans slang word meaning “a really good time,” takes place every June on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee.

This year’s big name bands included the Beastie Boys, Elvis Costello, the Decemberists, Al Green, Nine Inch Nails, Phish, Public Enemy, Snoop Dogg, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and Wilco.

Ashley Capps, president of A.C. Entertainment (the co-producers of Bonnaroo with Superfly Presents), said she believes this year’s show was the best yet, with a record attendance of nearly 75,000.

“Each year we try to raise the bar in every facet of the festival. You have to keep evolving, you don’t want to stay static or you go backwards. Every year you want to look back and say ‘wow this was better than the last year,’” Superfly’s Jonathan Mayers added.

Megan Fox on Cover of Entertainment Weekly

The newest issue of Entertainment Weekly features a cover story on”Transformers” star Megan Fox.

In the EW article, the actress speaks openly about what’s on her mind, whether that be farts, sex, feminism or marijuana, saying, “I have a mouth and I’m not afraid to use it.”
