Mickelson’s wife has cancer; will not play on PGA Tour
Phil Mickelson’s steady hand around the golf course will have to be just as steady when he hold’s his wife Amy’s hand as it was discovered that she has breast cancer and will begin major surgery treatment in the next two weeks.
Per ESPN in a release from Mickelson’s management company, the lefty will take an indefinite leave of absence from the PGA Tour.
The couple have three children between the ages of 6-9.
Support was being issued across the golf world, even from rival Tiger Woods.
