Lakers take Game 5 over Nuggets
Kobe Bryant is still making the argument that he is the best player in the NBA, guiding the Los Angeles Lakers back from a seven-point third-quarter deficit to a 103-94 over the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.
The Lakers now hold a 3-2 edge in the series with their team-effort win Wednesday night at the Staples Center, per the Los Angeles Times.
Bryant scored 22 points and dished out eight assists, while Lamar Odom (@RealLamarOdom) had 19 points and 14 rebounds and Pau Gasol had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Carmelo Anthony led the way with a game-high 31 points for the Nuggets.
